Sanctuary on the Susquehanna

Nestled in architectural splendor, The Sanctuary boasts an exquisite adaptation of the English Perpendicular Gothic style. Crafted with meticulous care, the structure showcases the enduring beauty of natural gray stone. The exterior walls, adorned with the prestigious blue limestone sourced from the Hershey Quarries, seamlessly complement the stone trimmings fashioned from Indiana limestone, extracted from the illustrious Hummelstown Quarries.

A harmonious blend of Tudor-Gothic aesthetics graces the building, captivating onlookers with its timeless charm. The grandeur is accentuated by an awe-inspiring dome, 14-feet in diameter, crowning the structure. Illuminated by large skylights, this architectural marvel creates a play of light and shadow, adding an ethereal quality to the surroundings.

The venue takes on an enchanting octagonal shape, where every angle unveils a new facet of its beauty. In this design, neither pillar nor post obstructs the view, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the seamless elegance of the design. Each detail, from the choice of stone to the graceful curvature of the dome, converges to create a venue that is not just a space but a masterpiece in architectural finesse.
